Our mission.
The Hypno Academy exists to optimise professionals and raise the bar in the hypnotherapy industry. Our curriculum covers certified education in modern hypnotherapy, NLP, HNLP, coaching, body language and professional communication.
Our approach is science-based, informed by current research in brain neurology, and continuously updated. More than 70% of the course material is unique to the Academy — intellectually protected and, in parts, patented.
Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with an office in Las Vegas and activities and in-person training throughout Europe. Programmes are delivered through a hybrid model — in-person teaching, live online sessions and eLearning — with personal mentoring during live classes and events.

Since founder Martin Castor stepped back at the end of 2024, The Hypno Academy has been owned and run by an international partner group through Avelor MindSpace Group. All organisational decisions are made by the board and partners of The Hypno Academy LLC. This governance structure ensures the Academy operates as an institution rather than a single practice — with clear responsibility for curriculum, faculty standards and international relationships.
The Academy is partnered with six international organisations that support and approve the teaching material — Certified Examiner in six international accredited professional organisations, board membership in three.

Our instructors are continuously trained and internationally approved. Beyond our resident faculty, certified trainers worldwide teach the Academy's methods under the same standards.

Martin Castor
Martin Castor founded The Hypno Academy and, as Head Trainer and Content Developer, built the methods and curriculum the Academy still teaches today. At the end of 2024 he stepped back from the Academy for health reasons, and responsibility passed to the international partner group that owns and leads it today. Teaching continues through the Academy's expert, certified instructors, to the same standards. His professional roles have included Vice President & Board Member of ACHE (chair of Marketing & Conference), Vice President, Co-Founder and Board Member of ISAHt, and advisory board member of ICBCH and IHF, and he is a Certified HNLP Trainer by John Overdurf. His work bridged complex scientific content and accessible, modern training — drawing on a 4.5-year degree in photography, editing and journalism and more than 25 years of hypnosis practice.
